Hibernation…

Yes, I’ve decided, as a warm-blooded summer lover, that it’s best to hibernate in winter…brrrr!  Okay, perhaps it’s not that cold, but the rain has been ongoing, and the dismal grey and lack of colour is encouraging dreary moods and uninspiring seascapes…I know you know what I’m talking about!  So, I’m waiting for colour – those first buds of spring, the bouncing trot of lambs as they make an appearance at the national park close by, a lift in winds and weather conditions as the season changes for kite-surfers and lovers of water sports to come out and play.  In the meantime, I’ve returned to complete a photo shoot of a local B&B, working with some indoor shots, and experimenting with black and white.  A good opportunity to trial lenses, as well as utilising Lightroom’s assistance to adjust perspective to suit the plan of the room.  It is also the school holidays and I’ve been spending some quality time with my kids, visiting family, and slowly checking off a long list of jobs before the term begins again!  So, it’s short and sweet this week, but at least I got back to the keyboard!  Bye for now…
